Where to buy my artwork?

2013-03-03 20.50.10

I have been asked by many to post some links  and info so it will be easy to find where to buy my artwork.

Everything I paint is for sale, unless otherwise stated.  Some paintings have sold so the original is no longer available.  However I own the copyright to all my work and I have everything professionally scanned so that prints can be made.

If you choose to go directly through me you can either call  me directly 479-601-5277 or email me psovart@gmail.com or connect through Facebook Facebook Fan Page  or through contacting me here on my blog or Google Plus  (search for Patty Vicknair Artist or follow the link to the side of this post).

Buying directly from me has its advantages. I include a Certificate of Authenticity with each original and with all giclee prints.  I sign each and every image personally and I take extra care to ship the original or print to you safe and sound.

Prints can be purchased in a variety of sizes and on a variety of surfaces from metal print, acrylic print, canvas print  and several options for fine art paper prints. Price varies depending on the particulars of what your wanting.

Clown paper prints direct from the Artist (me)

I will order a print from my printer and provide a signed Certificate of Authenticity along with signing the painting. Your cost will be determined by the size you want + shipping to your location.
9 X 12 = $45.00
11 x 14 = $65.00
16 X 20 = $116.00

Each clown I paint receives a share of the proceeds, so rest assured I am selling these images with their blessing

My Acrylic work on canvas original prices start at $1.30 and inch. My Watercolor  original work on paper varies according to the size and subject matter.

Clown Portraits

I started a watercolor clown series, of which I am trying to launch and I am not well known for, because there is not an established market for. So I have the liberty to offer at a lower rate.
If you stay within these guidelines 9 x 12 size, watercolor, 1 clown in the portrait and allow me to sell prints of the image (of which you will receive 25% above my cost for each sale) and agree to be interviewed for my blog,www.greatclownportraits.com then you will get the amazing deal as listed below. There are a few exceptions but generally the pricing goes like this:
Paintings created at this time sell for $200.00 each + 6.00 shipping for 9 x 12

Currently painting #30 with about 26 more lined up.
I spend on average 30 hours painting each one so if you do the math I am not making much per hour.

If you request a painting of a different size or quantity of people in it the price starts at a base price and we add $75.00 for each additional person. Since the painting will take longer. There will be a 50% non refundable deposit before I will even start the painting.
I will offer the same for the ability to sell prints and 25% on the profit.
Price example: 18 x 24 watercolor $300.00 with 4 clowns + 3x 75.00 = 525.00 with 1/2 down before we begin.

Links to buy my work online

I post on several sites depending on the site you will find canvas prints, paper prints, T-Shirts, hats,  greeting cards, puzzles, notepads, phone covers and pillows etc… you name it and it can probably be created for you and shipped directly from them to you and you have 30 days to decline the order if not up to your expectations.  So you can’t lose!

The project has been well documented in photos and video with over 100 videos on Facebook live.  I have also created a few videos showing the process of painting several areas. This is the one I made on the Circus Medallion Creation.

The Hole In The Tent Creation Video

I have been creating a a unique design in my art studio for the past 1  1/2 years…

The project has been well documented in photos and video with over 100 videos on Facebook live.  I have also created a few videos showing the process of painting several areas. This is the one I made on the The Hole in the Tent.  The hole was created by the Monkey- who is on top of the door with the scissors, the clown is trying to coax the monkey down to take away the sissors with a banana.  Through the hole we can see mountains, a lake, trees, and a hot air balloon up in the sky.

This whole area was created because in the design of my circus tent room, the framing did not have the same arch as the ceiling in the rest of the room, do to the area being the inside corner in the framing of the room.

Art Studio Revamp – The Clown Alley -Skittles The Clown

Art Studio Revamp – The Clown Alley-  Clowns  Skittles The Clown

I am in the process of creating a Circus Theme Art Studio Revamp of my art studio design.  The room was originally the bonus room above the garage in my home.  My Hubby let me have it as my studio. We took out the carpet and put in wood floors ( saved the carpet in the attic) and installed  some new lighting.  I moved in.  I lived with the yucky color on the walls for 6 years. Feeling uninspired with the color but to frugal to turn around and change out perfectly good new paint I lived with it.  However with time the paint needed to be touched up or changed and I asked my Hubby if he minded if I did some creative work with the paint job.  He told me to go for it… that was back in May 2016 I got started.  First came the red and white stripes to make the room look like the inside of a circus tent.  Then in July came a cut out in the tent in the back corner in which I placed a naughty monkey with scissors above my  entrance door (he cut the whole) and a small clown on the floor with a bannana trying to coax the monkey down.  In the hole I placed clouds, hills, trees a small lake and a hot air balloon.  (might add a few clowns to this down the road) In August I worked on the opposite corner where I placed my Baby Elephant Balloon Sales Team along with a big bunch of colorful balloons.  Then I moved on the the Medallion around my fan in the center of the room.  I changed the fan out to a more colorful option and started to work.  Photos and videos of the stripes being created and the two back corners of my room and the creation of the fan Medallion are in previous blog posts on this blog.   Now my attention has turned to the stage wall.  I am currently working on the 24 clown strong Stage area in the front of my room.   For now I thought I would bring my blog a little up to date with photos and videos of the Creation of the stage for my clown alley. I am painting live on facebook and have photos and videos for you to see of the entire process.  It has been a fun journey.   Enjoy and leave me comments!

Each clown I used gave me permission to use their image. Each clown is trademarked so the replication I will be doing of each clown will be as exact as I can make it with the twinkle in the eye and the joy on their faces.  Once I actually start painting the detail stage of each clown there will be anywhere from 6-12 hours each just on detail and that does not include basic sketching or blocking in color which is what this post is covering…

Each the clown image will not look right or completed until I do get to the final detail stages.  Until then each clown can go through some pretty incomplete and even scary stages. Have faith it will look right when I am done with them.

Skittles The Clown is Lisa Graves.  She is on the left hand side closest to the window beside Lee Andrews

Watercolor Pencils used to indicate some of the colored areas so that I would not become confused. Sketching continues…

Adding Color – blocking in base colors that will be added to and painted on top of to create final image.

I will probably go in and add more shadow to the dress… but for now this is where we are.

Now to continue to bring each clown to life one at a time… Stay Tuned
