Hello All, I originally wanted to make this blog about the clowns that I paint, the paintings themselves and then I was hoping to find other artist who also like to paint clowns and feature them… well, there really are not that many out there and the ones that I have found who are active currently are very busy and do not have time to be interviewed.
So I am changing this blog to be about my art. I will most definitely post a progression on each painting.. (clown or other images) and if I can secure an interview with the Clown featured in the artwork I will post that to or at least links you can follow to learn more about them. I think it is wonderful to learn about the clowns and the clown industry from those who have lived the life.
I have found a wonderful Facebook page I encourage all of you to check out that features not only clown art but circus art to. I encourage all of you to check it out.
Also if you want to follow along in real-time to my art as I am creating each painting. Please follow my Facebook Fan Page where I will be posting live video of me painting, videos as I complete the work for the evening and progress images of my current works.
At the current time of this post I am embarking on a major revamp of my art studio complete with a wall to wall custom mural of the inside of a red and white striped circus tent, lots of clowns, a monkey, hot air balloon and maybe an elephant or two. I will be posting using “Facebook live” video of the painting process once I get to the stage of applying paint. I will also be posting progress on this blog…
I am excited to create my own custom art space with images of my Facebook clown friends to keep me company… It will be a big job but lots of fun to create.
